The UAV pneumatic launcher (designed and fabricated in-house) is a robust system engineered to launch Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) weighing between 20kg and 100kg. Utilizing pneumatic pressure, the launcher can propel UAVs at speeds ranging from 20 to 50m/s by adjusting the pressure in its vessel, which is tested to withstand pressures up to 60 bars.
Key features of the launcher include a 2-meter launch actuator and a total system length of 12.5 meters. It is also equipped with a drum-based friction braking system to ensure controlled deceleration after launch. The launcher has been thoroughly field- tested and proven reliable for a range of UAV deployment scenarios.
